No Death or Wars in Heaven - S/S
This capsule collection will explore themes of nostalgia, christianity, and sexuality while embracing bold colors, graphic shapes, and dynamic prints. The design direction was heavily inspired by American and European floral prints from the late 1960’s and into the early 1970’s. This collection was further inspired by the dichotomy between christianity and sexuality and the impact of this dichotomy on individuals. The selection of colors includes vibrant warm tones as well as more peaceful, cool tones in contrast to the dark prints.

The Classic of Mountains and Angels - F/W
This capsule collection will explore topics of Chinese mythology and nods to christian themes while embracing bold colors, graphic shapes, and dynamic silhouettes. The design direction was heavily inspired by The Classic of Mountains and Seas, also known as Shan Hai Jing. This is a compilation of Chinese mythic geography that incorporates different mythical animals; it was further inspired by the dichotomy between the two cultures. This collection was a collaboration between myself, and my partner, Yimeng Ma.
